HSCF CAMP 2025
Date TBD
For 50 years, HSCF has gone camping. Up in the woods of Wilderness State Park, 8 days of living in a community of believers has changed countless lives. Camp is the catalyst that the CF year revolves around.
CF Camp is an 8 day tent camping trip up at Wilderness State Park near Mackinac City. Students are immersed in the Word every day by lessons from our staff that care about them, as well as getting to eat good camp food and have lots of fun! Morning and afternoon Bible lessons, morning and evening worship, and an evening campfire message really drive the goal of CF Camp home while still leaving hours and hours of free time to have fun with friends.
CF Camp exists to draw CF Students closer to God. So if you want to go to camp, go to CF on Wednesdays throughout the school year! CF Camp is for CF students. It is not a camping trip for anyone wanting a good time, but an activity that the group of CF goes and does. For more information on camp, come visit us this Wednesday night and try CF out! (Or you can shoot us a message on our Contact page).
A Message to Potential 2025 Campers
Camp sign up for 2025 is coming up in a few months. That is very exciting to me and I hope you. I know that in the days before camp sign up people sometimes get nervous or maybe afraid about going to camp for eight days. If you have never been to CF Camp, I understand. Maybe you haven't gone away from home for that long. You might not be sure who will hang out with you at camp. Other things may concern you. In 51 summers of taking kids on these camping trips, I have never known anyone who went to camp with a God focus - where God was a big part of the reason why they decided to go to camp - I have never known a person who said after it was over, "I wish I had never gone to camp." I have known many who said "I wish I had gone before this year." In the next few years you are going to leave home - to go to college, to get a job, just to get out on your own. It is part of growing up. I think CF students and leaders are a pretty good group of people to be with when you take a step like this. So, I hope you decide to go to camp. I really do not think you will regret it! And I am sure praying God will lead you to what He wants you to do. And if you know you are going to camp, think about encouraging someone else who said they want to go to camp but might be having second thoughts. If they decide to go to camp, they will probably thank you for your encouragement. That's it. - Duke
